📜 Runes in Sailor Piece

Runes are passive modifiers — you equip one at a time to get a permanent stat boost. They drop only from the Rune Dungeon (except two secret runes from Infinite Tower). Runes have levels (1–50 for most, up to 60 for secret runes). To level a rune, you feed it duplicate copies of the same rune. Maxing a rune to Lv50 requires 502 total duplicates, so it's a long‑term grind.

The Rune Dungeon is on Dungeon Island. To unlock it, you need level 5,000+, collect 6 Ancient Puzzle Pieces, and defeat 25 bosses. Each run costs a Dungeon Key (which also drops from the dungeon). You can choose difficulty (Easy to Extreme) — higher difficulty = better drop rates and more XP/money.

⚡ Leveling a Rune (Short Version)

  • You need duplicate runes to level up.
  • Lv1 → Lv50 requires 502 total copies (including the first).
  • Secret runes (Primordial, Radiant) go to Lv60 — even more duplicates needed.
  • Higher difficulty runs yield more rune drops, but still RNG.
  • Focus on one good rune first — Havoc or Wrath — before chasing secret ones.

💡 Tip: The official Discord FAQ confirms Havoc Rune as the best damage rune for most players, but Primordial Rune (Infinite Tower) is now the absolute top if you can farm it.

Rune Dungeon & Leveling

How do I unlock the Rune Dungeon?

Reach level 5,000+, collect 6 Ancient Puzzle Pieces (drop from various mid-game bosses), and defeat 25 bosses. Then talk to the Dungeon Master on Dungeon Island.

How many duplicate runes do I need to max a rune?

To go from Lv1 to Lv50: 502 total copies (including the first). For secret runes (Lv60): even more. It's a long grind — focus on one rune at a time.

Which rune should I get first as a new player?

Havoc or Wrath Rune. Both are solid damage boosts and drop from Rune Dungeon. Avoid defensive runes early on — damage is more valuable for progression.

Can I get runes from anywhere else besides Rune Dungeon?

Primordial and Radiant runes are exclusive to the Infinite Tower (Tower Island). All others are Rune Dungeon only.

Does Rune Dungeon difficulty affect drop rates?

Yes — higher difficulties (Hard, Extreme) give better chances for rune drops and more XP/money, but also require better gear. Start on Easy/Medium to get your first rune, then move up.
