Runes are passive modifiers — you equip one at a time to get a permanent stat boost. They drop only from the Rune Dungeon (except two secret runes from Infinite Tower). Runes have levels (1–50 for most, up to 60 for secret runes). To level a rune, you feed it duplicate copies of the same rune. Maxing a rune to Lv50 requires 502 total duplicates, so it's a long‑term grind.
The Rune Dungeon is on Dungeon Island. To unlock it, you need level 5,000+, collect 6 Ancient Puzzle Pieces, and defeat 25 bosses. Each run costs a Dungeon Key (which also drops from the dungeon). You can choose difficulty (Easy to Extreme) — higher difficulty = better drop rates and more XP/money.

Primordial · Havoc · Wrath
Highest flat damage multipliers
Fortune · Radiant
Luck boosts for rare drops
Frost (freeze) · Blood (bleed) · Inferno (burn)
Crowd control or DoT pressure
Guardian (HP) · Suppression (DR)
Defensive, but outclassed by damage

The absolute strongest damage rune in the game. Added in Massive Update (March 2026), drops from Infinite Tower floors (≪1% chance, pity reduced to 7,500 floors in Huge Update). Requires level 8,500+ to even attempt. If you can farm this, use it forever.
Confirmed by official Discord FAQ as the best rune for damage‑focused builds (before Primordial was added). Still an amazing choice if you can't farm Infinite Tower. Drops from Rune Dungeon. Level it to 50 for huge damage boost.
A strong flat damage rune. Excellent alternative to Havoc during progression. Works for sword, melee, or fruit builds.
The only rune that boosts Luck. Essential for farming rare drops — stack with Kitsune race for maximum effect. Swap it in when grinding bosses, then back to damage rune for PvP.
A decent damage rune, weaker than Wrath but still useful if you haven't found a better one. Good placeholder.
Burning damage over time. Good for boss fights where you can apply DoT and focus on dodging. Solid sustained DPS.
Bleed effect, longer duration than Inferno but slightly less total damage. Pairs well with lifesteal builds for extra pressure.
The best crowd-control rune. Freeze enemies for up to 3 seconds — huge in PvP for setting up combos. Damage bonus is just a cherry on top.
Boosts your maximum health. Useful for tank builds, but damage runes are almost always better. Only consider if you're a dedicated party tank.
Minor damage reduction. Outclassed by every other rune. Don't waste duplicates leveling this.
A secret rune from the Massive Update. Provides a Luck bonus (max +26% at Lv60), making it the best farming rune in the game — even better than Fortune Rune. Drops from Infinite Tower floors (pity reduced to 6,000 floors in Huge Update). Extremely rare, but if you get it, use it for all farming sessions.
All values are base stats. Leveling a rune requires duplicate copies from Rune Dungeon (or Infinite Tower for secret runes). Max level for regular runes is 50, for secret runes 60.
Reach level 5,000+, collect 6 Ancient Puzzle Pieces (drop from various mid-game bosses), and defeat 25 bosses. Then talk to the Dungeon Master on Dungeon Island.
To go from Lv1 to Lv50: 502 total copies (including the first). For secret runes (Lv60): even more. It's a long grind — focus on one rune at a time.
Havoc or Wrath Rune. Both are solid damage boosts and drop from Rune Dungeon. Avoid defensive runes early on — damage is more valuable for progression.
Primordial and Radiant runes are exclusive to the Infinite Tower (Tower Island). All others are Rune Dungeon only.
Yes — higher difficulties (Hard, Extreme) give better chances for rune drops and more XP/money, but also require better gear. Start on Easy/Medium to get your first rune, then move up.
